Frequently asked questions about Landed
Membership, provider credits, verification and the launch date — the same answers our assistant Przyjaciel gives.
The first 50 members join free — first come, first served. After that, membership is a one-time 49 PLN fee. No subscription, no renewal, and never a charge per message. Providers pay a one-time registration fee for their category and buy credits separately. A provider spends credits to open a conversation; once it is open, replying costs nothing on either side.
Members
- What does membership cost?
- The first 50 members join free. The one-time fee of 49 PLN applies only from member 51 onwards. Either way it is a single payment: no subscription, no renewal and no charge per message.
- Do all providers speak English?
- Landed is an English-language platform and everyone accepts that condition when registering: they can communicate in English, or will agree a common language directly with the other party. Landed does not test, verify, certify or guarantee anyone's level of English, and is not responsible for misunderstandings arising from language differences. Satisfy yourself that you can understand each other before agreeing to any service.
- Do I pay to message a provider?
- No. After joining, posting requests and replying to providers cost nothing. Providers spend credits to open the conversation with you.
- Can I see a provider's phone number or email?
- No. Members never see a provider's phone number or email. The provider opens the conversation and replies to you.
- When do connections open?
- Connections open on 30 September 2026. Before then you can register, post requests and be matched.
- Can I cancel and get a refund?
- Members are consumers: you can cancel within 14 days of paying and get a full refund, no reason needed, by emailing us. Members who paid nothing have nothing to refund.
- How many providers reply to a request?
- Up to 3 providers respond to each request. Requests expire after 14 days.
Providers
- What account types are there?
- Two. Business (Firma): NIP verified against the Polish company register, may list in all categories. Freelancer (Osoba prywatna): identity verified, shown with an Individual badge, limited to cleaning, tutors, childcare and handyman.
- What is the registration fee?
- There is a one-time registration fee per category. It is the cost of using the platform. It is not a payment for enquiries, clients or work, it guarantees nothing, and it is non-refundable once the listing is published.
- How do credits work?
- Credits are bought separately after registration and are used to open an enquiry. They are valid 30 days (one month) and are never refunded — including when there is no reply, when the service is not liked, or when the member finds the price too high. A provider spends credits to open a conversation; once it is open, replying costs nothing on either side.
- How do I register my business?
- Go to Offer your services, choose Business or Freelancer, pick a category, verify your NIP (business) or identity (freelancer), accept the terms and pay the one-time registration fee for that category. The listing is submitted immediately after payment.
- Which payment methods can I use?
- Card, BLIK and Przelewy24 (P24). All prices are in PLN and include Polish VAT at 23% unless a valid EU business VAT number makes the sale a reverse charge.
Housing
- What do the housing categories cost?
- Both housing categories are open to Business and Freelancer accounts. Roommates & flatshares: 49 PLN registration for a freelancer, 99 PLN for a business, and 5 or 10 credits per enquiry. Houses & flats for rent: 99 PLN registration for a freelancer, 199 PLN for a business, and 10 or 15 credits per enquiry.
- Is Landed an estate agency?
- Landed is a listings platform. We are not an estate agency. We do not view properties, verify ownership, value property, hold deposits or handle rent. Any tenancy agreement, deposit and payment is strictly between the parties. Check identity, ownership and the property in person before paying anything.
- How do I avoid a rental scam?
- Scam warning: never pay a deposit, rent or a 'reservation fee' before you have viewed the property in person and seen proof of ownership. Landed never asks you to transfer money to a landlord, and no payment for housing ever goes through Landed.
- Can a housing listing say who may apply?
- Housing listings must not exclude or prefer people by nationality, ethnicity, religion, gender, disability, family status or age. Listings that do are removed. Use the "Report this listing" link on the listing, or the complaints form, if you see one that does.
Complaints
- How do I make a complaint?
- Use the complaints form at /complaints. Tell us what it is about — a provider, a member, a listing, a payment or credits, a housing listing or something else — what happened and what you would like us to do.
- What happens after I complain?
- You get an acknowledgement by email straight away, the complaint is recorded and reviewed by the Landed team, and we reply by email.
- Will I get my credits back?
- No. Credits are not refunded. Complaints about conduct and listings are still reviewed, and listings that break the rules are removed.
The platform
- What is Landed?
- Landed is a listings and connection platform, in English, for Warsaw. It is not an employment service and does not provide work, jobs or placements.
- Who is responsible for the service itself?
- Providers set their own prices and terms. Any agreement, price, schedule and payment for the actual service is strictly between the member and the provider. Landed does not verify the quality of work and is not a party to it. Tax and ZUS obligations are the provider's own.
- Where does Landed operate?
- Landed serves Warsaw, Poland. The company behind Landed, Dhaliwal and Company Kft., is registered in Hungary — that is where the business is incorporated, not where the services are.
- What does Przyjaciel mean?
- Przyjaciel is Polish for friend. That's what our assistant is here to be.
