How we vet providers
Landed is for anyone in Warsaw who wants to deal in English — newcomers and Poles who simply prefer it. Finding a trustworthy cleaner, tutor or accountant usually means asking strangers in a Facebook group. We do the boring checks so you don't have to.
1. Identity check
Every provider uploads a government ID or passport, which we match against the name on the listing. Sole traders and company directors both go through this.
2. Registration number lookup
For companies we check the Polish business register via NIP and confirm the business is active and permitted to trade in the category it applied for.
3. Published pricing
Providers must publish real prices before going live. If a member reports a quote that differs materially from the listing, we ask for an explanation and can remove the listing.
4. Verified before publication
No listing goes live until we have checked the company registration number and confirmed the business name matches. Reviews are not part of the directory while listings are still in progress.
5. Verified Pro background checks
Verified Pro providers additionally submit a certificate of good conduct (zaświadczenie o niekaralności) and proof of liability insurance where the category requires it.
What we don't do
- We don't hide contact details behind a subscription.
- We don't take a commission on the work you agree.
- We don't hide paid promotion — featured listings are always labelled.
